A series of roadwork projects will bring lane closures and detours to several Atlantic County roadways from April 20 through April 24.
English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24, lane shifts will be in effect along English Creek Avenue in Egg Harbor Township between West Jersey Avenue and Scarborough Drive, 7 am – 4 pm daily, weather permitting, for asphalt and concrete work.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted work zone signs and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Police and traffic directors will be on site to assist.
Mill Road and Zion Road, Northfield
On Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24, the Mill Road and Zion Road intersection in Northfield will be closed to through traffic during the evening and overnight hours, 7 pm – 5 am the following morning, weather permitting, for work by the City of Northfield.
Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly. Police and traffic directors will be on site to assist.
Zion Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21, portions of Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed between Asbury Road and Old Stage Road, 7 am – 4 pm, for drainage work.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour routes and adjust travel times accordingly.
Moss Mill Road, Galloway
On Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21, Moss Mill Road in Galloway will be closed at the Intersection of Rt. 9 and E. Moss Mill Road, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, weather permitting, for work by South Jersey Gas.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Shore Road, Somers Point
On Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21, a detour will be in effect on the northbound lane of Shore Road in Somers Point between New York Avenue and Maryland Avenue, 7:30 am – 4 pm, weather permitting, for municipal road work. The southbound lane will not be impacted.
Northbound motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
