The Mosaic 5K Run & Health Walk brought energy, heart, and community spirit to the Ocean City Boardwalk on Sunday, April 19, more than 100 participants came together for a cause that touches so many families. Now in its 16th year, the event raised more than $10,000 to support local Alzheimer’s and dementia programs, caregiver support services, and enriching opportunities for older adults across Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland counties.

From avid runners to octogenarians walking with purpose, participants of all ages helped make the day a true celebration of community connection. Timing and results were managed by South Jersey Race Timing, with top honors going to Dominic Ditanna in the men’s division and Annie Walsh in the women’s.

The morning’s festivities were led by emcee Frank Marascio, while Molly Marie Pugliese, Miss Atlantic Shores 2026, delivered a moving rendition of the national anthem. Volunteers played a key role behind the scenes, supporting participants and helping ensure a smooth and successful event.

Behind it all was a dedicated committee whose leadership continues to drive the event’s success: Eric Share, chair; Fran Streeper; Janice Cambron; Antonio Tronco; Jayne Marascio; Tina Marchesano; Angelina Pollino; and Erin Luurtsema.
