Break out the flip-flops, Hawaiian shirts and festive spirit! Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum invites visitors to celebrate Christmas in July on Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside Historic Hangar #1.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy a day filled with tropical holiday fun, including live music by Rich Angelucci and free face painting from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a model train display, colorful chalk art by Samantha Dahlstrom, and a visit from Santa Claus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa’s legendary sleigh will also be parked among the museum’s historic aircraft for a special one-day static display. Powered by Christmas magic and capable of traveling around the world in a single night, it may just claim the title of the fastest aircraft in the hangar…even surpassing the museum’s very own F-14 Tomcat!
Several festive photo areas will be set up throughout the museum, giving families the perfect opportunity to take photos with Santa, capture a memorable summer holiday picture, or get an early start on this year’s Christmas card while surrounded by aviation history.

Hippie Kitty Coffee will be joining the celebration, offering freshly prepared coffee and festive drinks for purchase. At the same time, Victory Scoops, the museum’s aviation-themed ice cream parlor, will offer sweet treats and refreshments for the entire family. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirts, festive accessories or summertime holiday attire and help spread a little early Christmas cheer.
Christmas in July is included with regular museum admission. Make sure to check out this one-of-a-kind summer celebration where aviation history, sunshine, and the spirit of the holiday season come together inside Historic Hangar #1!
