A traffic advisory will be in effect starting Monday, Oct. 20, for portions of Shore Road in both Linwood and Somers Point.
From Monday, Oct. 20, through Friday, Oct. 24, Shore Road in Linwood will be closed between Ocean Heights Avenue and Frances Avenue from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting, for utility work by New Jersey American Water. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour, allow extra travel time or use an alternate route. Police and traffic directors will be on site to assist.
From Monday, Oct. 20, through Friday, Oct. 27, a lane shift and alternating traffic pattern will be in place on Shore Road in Somers Point, between Delaware Avenue and New York Avenue, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, for work by the City of Somers Point. Drivers should expect delays, plan accordingly, or seek alternate routes. Police and traffic personnel will assist with traffic flow.
