Ali and Chris Stokes and their sons, Ethan and Noah, celebrated the grand opening of Blue Cactus Taco Shop at its new location at 928 Haven Ave., with the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, officials, and members of the business community on Friday, Aug. 1.
The Blue Cactus Taco Shop, formerly located at 12th and Boardwalk then 10th and Boardwalk, features California-style tacos, bowls, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and more. All the ingredients are fresh and made to order.
Michele Gillian, Executive Director of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, thanked the Stokes family for their continued investment in Ocean City, first on the boardwalk, then on Haven Avenue and wished them much success at their new location.
Then Mayor Jay Gillian led the countdown for Ethan, age 23, and 18-year-old Noah to cut the ceremonial ribbon to the applause of the attendees.
On Saturday, Aug. 2, the Stokes family will host a grand opening celebration at the eatery, which will include free chips, live music, a popup art gallery, and face painting.
