The Miss New Jersey competition will return to the Ocean City Music Pier from June 18 to June 20. The Music Pier also will be host to the Miss New Jersey’s Teen Competition on June 20.
The Music Pier was host to the competition for more than 20 years until it moved to Atlantic City in 2019.
The winner of the competition will be crowned on Saturday evening (June 20) at the Music Pier and move on to represent New Jersey in the Miss America Pageant from Aug. 28 to Sept. 6 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The public can get a glimpse of all 38 contestants vying for the titles of Miss New Jersey and Miss New Jersey’s Teen during a free parade on Wednesday (June 17). The parade starts at 7 p.m. and proceeds from Sixth Street to 14th Street on the Ocean City Boardwalk. This year’s theme is “Crowned in Service, 250 Years of American Leadership,” and the contestants will be dressed accordingly. In a longstanding pageant tradition, they also will “show their shoes.” The parade also includes marching bands, entertainers, community groups and local business entries.
Pageant preliminary competitions will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday (June 18 and 19) on the Ocean City Music Pier.
Reigning Miss New Jersey Belle Nicholas will crown her successor at the conclusion of the pageant finale at the Music Pier at 8 p.m. Saturday. At 1 p.m. Saturday at the Music Pier, reigning Miss New Jersey’s Teen Delaney Higgins will crown her own successor.

‘Happy Together Tour 2026’ comes to Music Pier on Aug. 3
Tickets go on sale this week for an Aug. 3 concert at the Ocean City Music Pier featuring The Association, The Troggs, Chicago lead singer (1985-2016) Jason Scheff, Gary Puckett, The Fortunes, Ron Dante from The Archies and The Turtles, The Vogues, and The Cowsills.
The “Happy Together Tour 2026” will be part of the Music Pier’s annual Summer Concert Series.
A pre-sale (use code BRE) will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday (June 16) through 10 p.m. Wednesday (June 17). Regular ticket sales open at 10 a.m. Thursday (June 18).
