After 103 years of faithful ministry, Ventnor Community Church is joyfully passing the baton! The church has officially gifted its historic property to Fusion Church, a vibrant, contemporary congregation with locations in Egg Harbor Township and Newfield. This meaningful transition ensures that a legacy of hope and community impact will continue for generations to come.
As a result of this generous gift, Fusion Church will be able to expand its ministry into the Ventnor and Atlantic City region and launch the South Jersey Hope Center—a new nonprofit outreach organization serving under the Fusion Church umbrella.
Located at the former Ventnor Community Church property the South Jersey Hope Center will focus on meeting practical needs in the community through services like food distribution, clothing support, connections to recovery and rehabilitation resources, and other life-changing resources. It will serve as a hub for offering hope, healing, and help to those most in need across the Atlantic County area.
“We are humbled and honored to steward this sacred space and build on the foundation laid by Ventnor Community Church,” said Pastor Brendon Wilson, Lead Pastor of Fusion Church. “Our heart is to see lives transformed—spiritually and practically—through what happens in this building.”
Fusion Church will also begin hosting Sunday worship services and Connect Groups (small group Bible studies) at the Ventnor location, creating new opportunities for individuals and families to grow in faith and build community.
In addition, long-standing community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings will continue to be hosted in the building, preserving its role as a safe and supportive gathering place for those on the journey of recovery.
The building will also continue to welcome the North Beach Ventnor Residents Association, a neighborhood organization that promotes community connection, hosts local events, supports students through a scholarship fund, and takes pride in the vibrant North Beach area of Ventnor—stretching from Jackson to Surrey Avenues, beach to bay.
This historic transition marks a powerful moment of unity, vision, and renewed purpose—honoring the past while stepping boldly into the future.
