Legendary musician, producer, actor and entrepreneur Stevie Van Zandt will host the New Jersey debut of Malvado Maple Mezcal on Saturday, May 9, from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Lobby Bar at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

The event is open to the public and will feature expertly crafted Malvado Maple Mezcal cocktails, live music, and the opportunity to meet Van Zandt as he introduces the unique maple-infused mezcal to Atlantic City.

Van Zandt, also known as “Little Steven,” is an award-winning musician, performer, songwriter, arranger, producer, actor, director, international DJ, activist, historian, teacher and New York Times bestselling author. He is a Radio Hall of Fame nominee, a member of both the New Jersey Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is recognized internationally as one of the world’s foremost authorities on contemporary and traditional rock and roll.

Van Zandt and his company Wicked Cool Spirits have partnered with St. Johnsbury Distillery in Vermont to create this unique, rich, and flavorful experience. There are few (if any) flavored mezcals on the market and there is only one maple flavored mezcal, the award winning, Malvado Maple Mezcal.

The fiery landscapes of Mexico meet the icy landscapes of Vermont in this one-of-a-kind spirit where generations have perfected the labor-intensive process of turning agave into mezcal and sap into maple syrup.

Small batch Mexican-distilled mezcal is enhanced in Vermont by blending pure organic maple syrup to create a perfect balance of smokey and smooth – great for cocktails, and especially great served neat or on the rocks.
