Ocean City celebrated America’s 250th anniversary with a patriotic drone show that illuminated the night sky above the beach and Boardwalk.
Hundreds of synchronized drones formed colorful images and animations honoring the nation’s history, creating a memorable display for residents and visitors gathered along the shoreline. The 15-minute presentation was visible from the beach and Boardwalk south of Sixth Street.
The event marked Ocean City’s final patriotic drone show of the summer, concluding a series of aerial displays held as part of the community’s America 250 observances. Instead of traditional fireworks, the drones used carefully coordinated lights and movements to create changing designs against the dark sky.
