The Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) announce dits highly anticipated 2026 Summer Camp lineup, offering young performers an exciting opportunity to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop theatrical skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Running throughout the summer, OCTC’s camps are designed for students of all experience levels, from beginners discovering the stage for the first time to seasoned young actors looking to refine their craft. Programs will include acting, singing, dancing, improvisation, and full-scale musical productions led by experienced teaching artists and industry professionals.
“Our summer camps are more than just theatre training—they’re a place where young people grow, collaborate, and find their voice,” said Michael Hartman, Artistic Director. “Even going into our 19th Season, we’re still inspired and shocked by the talent, passion, and creativity our campers bring to the stage.”
The 2026 camp and educational offerings will feature:
- Summer Stars: A Wonderfully Wicked Summer Session is a five-session camp designed for teens (ages 13 and up) and adults with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities.
- For Good and Pre-School Musical Mini-Camps are open to students entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade in Fall 2026.
- Summer Junior Company Productions of FAME and High School Musical Jr. are open to students entering 5th through 12th grade in Fall 2026, as well as current 12th graders. Auditions will be held on May 2 and 3. Advance registration is required.
- American Song: This Patriotic celebration invites students entering 3rd through 8th grade in Fall 2026 to participate in a special production celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
- School House Rock Live Jr. Camp is a fully staged musical experience based on the hit TV series, open to students entering 3rd through 8th grade in Fall 2026.
- Broadway Babies is designed for infants ages 8 weeks to 3 years and their caregivers. This class offers an engaging in-person educational music and theatre based experience for families, whether you are new or returning participants.
In addition to skill-building, campers will have the chance to perform in front of family and friends, creating lasting memories and celebrating their achievements.
Registration for the 2026 Summer Camps is now open, with limited spots available and some camps already sold out or close to capacity.
