Families are invited to join Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) for a delightful theatrical adventure as “Winnie the Pooh” takes the stage at the historic Ocean City Music Pier on Tuesday, July 7, at 10:30 a.m. This production launches OCTC’s 2026 Children’s Theatre Series, which has been creating special summer memories for children and families for more than 14 years.

Based on the beloved stories by A.A. Milne, “Winnie the Pooh” follows Pooh Bear and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood on a heartwarming journey filled with friendship, imagination and fun. This family-friendly production is perfect for audiences of all ages and continues OCTC’s tradition of bringing high-quality live theatre to the Jersey Shore.

“We are excited to kick off our 2026 Summer Children’s Theatre Series to the Music Pier for this charming and imaginative production,” said Michael Hartman, artistic director of Ocean City Theatre Company. “’Winnie the Pooh’ is a timeless story that celebrates kindness, friendship and adventure, making it a wonderful theatre experience for children and adults alike.”

OCTC gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as the Cape May County Division of Culture & Heritage, whose funding helps make arts programming accessible to residents and visitors throughout the region.

“Winnie the Pooh” is part of OCTC’s popular Children’s Theatre Series, which introduces young audiences to the magic of live performance.

Additional family-friendly productions scheduled this summer include:

• “How I Became a Pirate” — July 14

• “The Berenstain Bears” — July 21
