Get ready to sing, laugh and learn as the Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) presents “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier. The high-energy musical is the final production in OCTC’s 2026 Summer Children’s Theatre Series and promises a memorable morning of entertainment for audiences of all ages.
Based on the beloved Emmy Award-winning animated television series, “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” brings iconic songs like “Conjunction Junction,” “I’m Just a Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly,” and “Three Is a Magic Number” to the stage in a colorful, energetic production that celebrates the joy of learning through music. The story follows Tom, a nervous schoolteacher preparing for his first day in the classroom, as his imagination comes to life with unforgettable characters who help him discover that creativity is the key to inspiring young minds.

Now in its 19th season, OCTC’s Summer Children’s Theatre Series continues its mission of making professional live theatre accessible and affordable for families while inspiring a lifelong love of the performing arts. Tickets for “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” are $11 in advance and $13 on the day of the performance.
