Ocean City Board of Realtors Celebrates Grand Re-Opening

The Ocean City Board of Realtors (OCBOR) held a grand re-opening Tuesday of their board office, located at 405 22nd Street, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Mayor Jay Gillian and City Council President Peter (Pete) Madden, who is also the President of the OCBOR, and Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michele Gillian, along with other Chamber members, joined a host of OCBOR members and other business members in the community for the event.

Michele Gillian said a few words about the importance of the OCBOR and all that the members mean to the community.

“The Ocean City Board of Realtors is a significant organization that promotes the Ocean City way of life by giving back to the community,” she said.

Mayor Gillian led the countdown and OCBOR President Madden cut the ceremonial ribbon with oversized scissors to the applause of attendees.

Attendees ate lunch and chatted around a newly renovated board office, complete with new tables, flooring, and comfortable seating. The updated space is designed with the goal of enhancing the office for collaboration among the leadership team, members, affiliates, as well as the City of Ocean City.

The Ocean City Board of Realtors was founded in 1920 and has been continuously serving the residents, property owners, and guests of the resort since its inception. The membership consists of 27 offices and more than 500 members.
