The Gallery at the Ocean City Arts Center springs forward with its “Annual Juried Photography Show”. The show opens April 1 and runs through April 29.A “Meet the Artists’ reception will be held on Friday, Aril 11 from 7pm to 8:30pm. Gallery is located in the Ocean City Arts Center, 1735 Simpson Avenue, 2nd, Ocean City, NJ.
Following the success of last year new twist of having a theme, this year’s theme is “Communication“! The photographers, who are some of the finest in the Delaware Valley, were given the challenge to create something specific using communication as a theme. Last year’s winning entries did not disappoint and were beyond compare. The themes are made to be as broad as possible and communication lends itself to many iterations. Prizes are awarded for Best in Show, 2nd and 3rd Place, 2 Honorable Mentions and the President’s Award. This year’s judges are noted area photographers, George Gehring, Beebe Bahrami and Ericka Midiri. The photographers whose works have been selected for the show have produced a myriad of exciting and beautiful interpretations. Check Art Center’s website after April 11 to see the winners.
The show runs from April 1-29.The Ocean City Arts Center is located on the second floor in the Community Center at 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City, New Jersey.
