Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City celebrated its eighth anniversary by partnering with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey to help families experiencing food insecurity.

Team members gathered to assemble more than 800 birthday-themed food boxes, joined by lookalikes portraying some of music’s most recognizable artists. The boxes were designed to provide children and families with supplies to celebrate birthdays throughout the year.

The volunteer effort was part of the resort’s anniversary celebration and reflects Hard Rock Atlantic City’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community through charitable initiatives.

June 28 was officially proclaimed “Hard Rock Day” by Atlantic City officials when the resort opened in 2018. Since then, the casino has marked its anniversary by recognizing team members, guests and community partners while supporting organizations throughout the region.

The birthday box initiative follows another recent fundraising effort benefiting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Earlier this month, Hard Rock Atlantic City hosted the organization’s inaugural Meal on a Mission: A Chef’s Tableside Experience. During the event, country music star Darius Rucker presented a $50,000 donation on behalf of Hard Rock Atlantic City and the Boardwalk 1000 Foundation to support the food bank’s mission of serving residents facing food insecurity.
