Fool Moon Theatre Company to have open auditions for THE MIRACLE WORKER

Fool Moon Theatre Company is having open auditions for THE MIRACLE WORKER. This classic play chronicles the life of Helen Keller, who became deaf and blind at age 19 months, and her teacher, Annie Sullivan who helps her learn to communicate. The story is about their relationship and Keller’s achievements despite her disabilities and explores themes of motivation, connection, and the importance of education.

Seeking diverse actors ages 6 and up.

WHERE: Margate Community Church, 8900 Ventnor Avenue, Margate, NJ

WHEN: Saturday, July 13 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm and Sunday, July 14 from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm

Performance Dates: September 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29.

All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Margate Community Church.

All Roles are open except Annie Sullivan.

Those auditioning for Helen Keller should be prepared for physical movement and to act as someone who is blind and deaf. All other roles should be prepared to read sides from the script.
