Have a Heart for Veterans

United Methodist Communities is asking for the public’s support by donating items for gift bags to be delivered to veterans at Meadowview Nursing Home in Northfield and The Memorial Veterans Home in Vineland. Anyone interested in participating in this cause may contact UMC Housing Administrator Kathy Speer at (609) 399-6702. Cash donations are welcome. Indoor Auto Racing

The Indoor Auto Racing series returns to Boardwalk Hall for another spectacular year of high-speed excitement. The headline TQ Midget cars will compete in two complete point paying shows of qualifying and feature events. Friday night will feature a brand-new event, the BlackJack 21, while the 22nd running of the Gambler’s Classic will commence on Saturday. Cancer: Thriving and Surviving

Shore Cancer Center Shore Rd. & Medical Center Way, Somers Point

Shore Medical Center and the Cape Atlantic Coalition for Health will host a free 6-week workshop for individuals affected by cancer. This interactive program is designed to empower participants with the tools and strategies to manage their health and lead fulfilling lives.
