Egg Harbor Township Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Gruccio was selected as the 2026-2027 Atlantic County Superintendent of the Year by the Atlantic County Association of School Administrators (ACASA).

The announcement was made Friday by Somers Point Superintendent Ted Pugliese during the association’s annual end-of-year meeting at Lamberti’s. Dr. Gruccio was selected due to her extraordinary efforts as the leader of one of the county’s largest school districts, as well as the additional hard work she has put into ACASA for the 25-26 school year, including serving as its president and filling in as vice president and treasurer when needed. Despite this transitional time for the association, Dr. Gruccio has led ACASA in a positive direction while accomplishing our goals.

Dr. Gruccio has been the head of the Egg Harbor Township School District since 2017 and prior to that has served the district in various roles since 2001, including 10 years as assistant superintendent.

On behalf of all of the superintendents of Atlantic County, ACASA congratulates Dr. Gruccio on her well-deserved recognition.
