D’Arcy Johnson Day hosts “Bracelets For Change” fundraiser to help local students raise money for five charities

Egg Harbor Township students Maggie and Molly Corcoran spent the summer making and selling “Bracelets for Change” to benefit five local charities: the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation, Reed’s Farm & Animal Sanctuary, Faces for Autism, Go4theGoal, and Last Salute. The D’Arcy Johnson Day law firm proudly supported the fundraising initiative, hosting a “Bracelets for Change Boutique” at the firm’s Egg Harbor Township office on Wednesday, August 21. Sales and donations at the DJD office allowed Maggie and Molly to raise over $500 for these worthy causes.

“Our firm has had a longstanding commitment to local community involvement and local charities,” said Kelli Prinz, Of Counsel at DJD. “When I saw a Facebook post about “Bracelets for Change,” I was so impressed by the girls’ commitment to volunteerism for these great charities and the donation of their time during their summer break to help others. Their dedication to these charities reminded me of our firm’s commitment to the community, and I contacted the Corcoran family to see how we could support them.”

Maggie and Molly Corcoran initiated the “Bracelets for Change” fundraiser through Our Children Making Change, a nonprofit organization that offers a valuable chance for younger children, who might not be able to volunteer, to engage actively in community service.
