Views of the bay will greet runners and walkers Saturday, Nov. 7, as the Trail of Two Cities 5K returns for its 31st running.
The 3.1-mile course begins in Ocean City and finishes in Somers Point, taking participants across the Route 52 causeway in lanes normally used by vehicles.
To accommodate the race, Ocean City-bound lanes leading to Ninth Street will close from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Drivers entering the island during that period should use an alternate route. Traffic leaving Ocean City can continue using the outbound causeway lanes.
Police may adjust the closure times depending on roadway conditions and when the last participants clear the course.
Bus transportation will be available from the Somers Point finish area to the Ocean City starting line before the race. Afterward, buses will bring participants from Somers Point back to Ocean City.
