Fool Moon Theatre Company announces a special, one-night-only presentation of the hit play “Love, Loss and What I Wore,” Nov. 12, at the historic Eagle Theatre. This exclusive event is a benefit for the Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary in Mays Landing.

Written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman, “Love, Loss and What I Wore” uses apparel and accessories as a framework to tell poignant, funny and deeply relatable stories. The long-running off-Broadway hit features an intimate series of monologues and ensemble pieces exploring life events, changing times and the complex relationships between mothers and daughters. “Variety” famously praised the show as, “an evening that goes directly to the heart, soul and vanity of every woman, young or old.”

The cast features Laurie Zaleski, the founder and president of the Funny Farm; Danielle Davies, writer, speaker, and host of the podcast “Roar,” and Fool Moon Theatre veterans Rosanna Consalvo, last seen in “Love Letters,” and Kate Read, most recently seen in “Agnes of God.” Fool Moon’s Vice President Rebecca Maegerle is making her on-stage debut. The production is directed by Pattye Herron, last seen in performing in “Agnes of God.”

“Fool Moon is thrilled to partner with the Funny Farm for this incredibly special night. Not only do theatergoers get to experience a beautifully moving, hilarious show on the Eagle Theatre stage, but they are also directly supporting the vital, life-saving rescue work Laurie and her team perform every day for hundreds of animals,” said Herron, also Fool Moon’s co-founder. “We also owe a massive debt of gratitude to Nate Labb, Eagle Theatre’s managing director, for his tremendous support in helping us bring this production to life in this beautiful venue.”

Tickets are $40 and available FoolMoonTheatre.org or at TheEagleTheatre.org. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12. The Eagle is located at 208 Vine St. in Hammonton. This production was made possible by funds from the Atlantic County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

Fool Moon Theatre Co’s next production is “The Drowsy Chaperone,” Jan. 8, 9, and 10, 2027, at the Eagle Theatre.
