Imagine playing some of the world’s most famous golf courses without worrying about rain, extreme heat, cold temperatures or losing a golf ball. That experience is now available at Fire Golf Club, a newly opened indoor golf facility at 2907 Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township.

Business partners Dr. Adam Saad and Miro Kesic created the facility to combine golf simulator technology with the atmosphere, comfort and amenities of a private country club.

Fire Golf Club opened in September and is already drawing interest from golfers throughout South Jersey.

Saad, a plastic surgeon, grew up in Monmouth County and attended Holmdel High School. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University and attended Drexel University College of Medicine. Although he began taking golf seriously about four years ago, his enthusiasm for the game helped inspire the new venture.

Kesic grew up in Cleveland, attended Northeastern University and is an entrepreneur who owns several health care companies. Unlike Saad, Kesic has played golf since childhood. Both partners are married and have four children.

The concept developed after Saad purchased a property for his Optimal Training Gym. The property included another building that presented an opportunity to create an indoor golf facility.

The roughly 7,500-square-foot Fire Golf Club now complements the adjoining 7,000-square-foot gym, creating two businesses focused on fitness, recreation and healthy lifestyles.

The facility is minutes from Atlantic City and offers convenient access to the Garden State Parkway and other major highways.

“Our concept is to create an elevated indoor golf experience with all the amenities you can imagine,” Saad said. “We wanted a club atmosphere where people can relax, socialize and experience playing some of the greatest golf courses in the world.”

The renovated facility features six Golfzon simulators designed to provide a realistic playing experience. Golfers can virtually play well-known courses from across the United States and around the world.

Other amenities include a 30-by-40-foot PuttView practice area, a dedicated performance bay, a Founders Bay and a private instruction room.

The Fuego Bar has a liquor license, seating and a setting designed to encourage conversation, making Fire Golf Club a place for members and guests to socialize as well as practice their swings.

General Manager Jason Lamp, a PGA professional, brings extensive golf experience to the club.

Lamp grew up in Fargo, North Dakota, attended Texas Lutheran University and began playing golf at age 11. His competitive accomplishments include winning the Philadelphia Open, the Philadelphia Section Championship and the 2006 New Jersey State Open.

Before joining Fire Golf Club, Lamp served as director of golf and general manager at Galloway National Golf Club. He is a PGA member and provides professional instruction to golfers seeking to improve their games.

Golf also runs in Lamp’s family. His 84-year-old father, mother, sister and brother, a scratch golfer, all enjoy the sport. Lamp and his wife, Sheri, have been married for 25 years and have a 23-year-old daughter, Payton.

Fire Golf Club operates primarily as a private membership club. Members and their guests can reserve tee times online.

Membership options include individual, family, corporate and short-term programs, offering flexibility for golfers with different schedules and interests.

According to Saad, the club has attracted about 65 members and aims to reach 100 during its first year.

The indoor format allows members to play throughout the year in a climate-controlled setting while building friendships and business connections. The club also gives business owners a place to entertain clients, reward employees and strengthen professional relationships.

Fire Golf Club welcomes experienced golfers, beginners seeking instruction and those interested in its social atmosphere.
