On Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, Roberto Perez-Solis, 44, of Pleasantville, NJ, pled guilty to a number of pending criminal cases including a guilty plea to first-degree distribution of CDS, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and two counts of third-degree terroristic threats. The plea calls for a total of 12 years in New Jersey State Prison on the CDS distribution charge, with the defendant required to serve 85% of six years in New Jersey State Prison on the sexual assault charges, and a concurrent three years in New Jersey State Prison on the terroristic threats charges.
Following his release from prison, Perez-Solis will be supervised on parole for three additional years. Additionally, he will be a registered sex offender under Megan’s Law and must serve parole supervision for life as a sex offender.
In 2021, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office conducted a proactive investigation into drug distribution operations within Atlantic County. Throughout the months of August and November, Perez-Solis made multiple CDS sales of cocaine exceeding five ounces in total weight.
In early 2025, two adult children of Perez-Solis came forward to Atlantic City Police Department and disclosed Perez-Solis touched them inappropriately years prior when they were both children less than 13 years of age. The adult victims did not disclose the abuse until a decade later because they were fearful they would not be believed and fearful of how Perez-Solis would react.
The cases were investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Unit and Special Victims Unit. AP Eliza
