Spark Car Wash will open a new location at 6024 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, continuing the company’s expansion in South Jersey.
The New Jersey-based express tunnel car wash will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 24 with the Egg Harbor Township Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Laura Pfrommer.
The new Spark Car Wash is located between M&S Produce and Deli and Aldi, across from Matt Blatt Nissan. The site is part of a busy retail corridor that also includes Home Depot, Lowe’s, Chick-fil-A and ShopRite.
“We aren’t just opening a location; we’re joining a community,” Spark Car Wash CEO Kyle Van Decker said. “The Chamber of Commerce and our future neighbors along the Black Horse Pike have made us feel welcome from day one, and we’re excited to build the kind of local partnerships that make Egg Harbor Township home.”
From Sept. 17-28, customers can receive a free Signature wash, a $25 value, at the new location. Those who enroll as Spark Unlimited members during the opening celebration can receive their first month for the price of a single retail wash.
For each free wash provided during the celebration, Spark will donate $1 to Reed’s Farm in Egg Harbor Township. The farm works to provide access to fresh, nutrient-rich food, inclusive education and workforce exploration opportunities.
Spark has also partnered with DonutNV, a mobile food business based in Egg Harbor Township, as part of the opening celebration.
The new location will feature an automated tunnel with Neoglide washers, nonacidic cleaning formulas and high-intensity dryers. It will also include Spark Park, a self-service cleaning area equipped with microfiber towels, multinozzle vacuums and automated floor mat cleaners.
Customers can choose from three membership levels — Standard, Signature and Select — and may add up to four vehicles at a discounted rate.
Spark Car Wash has been a member of the Egg Harbor Township Chamber of Commerce throughout the planning process. The company’s Neighborhood program also works with local schools, athletic teams, clubs and nonprofit organizations through fundraisers, sponsorships and donations.
The Egg Harbor Township facility is one of approximately a dozen Spark Car Wash locations under development in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
