On Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, Frank Marin, 29, from Toms River, NJ, was sentenced by the Honorable Christine Smith, J.S.C., to three years in New Jersey State Prison after pleading guilty to one count of third-degree terroristic threats.

On Sept. 12, 2025, Atlantic City police officers responded to a road rage incident on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Atlantic City. The victim told officers that after he stopped for an ambulance crossing an intersection, a white Nissan Altima, driven by Frank Marin, ran through a red light and almost collided with his vehicle.

The two drivers confronted each other on MLK Blvd., as the victim advised Marin that he almost hit his vehicle. As the victim attempted to leave, Marin cut his vehicle off from the passenger side and began threatening him. Marin told the victim that he would kill him, and his dog. Marin retrieved a taser from his vehicle and approached the victim’s car. The victim then moved his car forward and collided with Marin’s Nissan. Marin then returned to his vehicle and drove off.

Assistant Prosecutor Frank Edward Vizzi Jr. represented the State in this matter.
