The Ocean City Theatre Company is teaming up with Ocean City Pops to present this feel-good musical comedy based on the 1992 hit film. With an original score of music and truly moving story, audiences will be left breathless and rejoice at this lively tribute to the universal power of friendship. Atlantic County 4-H Fair

Friday, August 7 & Saturday, August 8

Atlantic County 4-H Fairgrounds, 3210 Route 50, Mays Landing

Activities will include live music and performances, rides and games, livestock and poultry exhibits, horse shows, chicken barbeque, food, and craft vendors. Plus, enjoy special events, including a car show, baby parade, tractor parade, pie and watermelon eating, and more. Rain or shine. The fair will take place this Friday from 2 – 10 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Admission is free and parking is $5 on-site.

Ocean City Boardwalk Art Show

Ocean City Boardwalk from Seventh to 11th Streets

Join the Ocean City Arts Center for their 63rd Annual Boardwalk Art Show this weekend. Leading artists from throughout the East Coast will exhibit and sell their work. The show will take place Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Margate Community Farmers Market

The Margate Community Farmers Market features over twenty local vendors selling prepared food, baked goods, and more. Parking is available in the lot on Monroe Ave. The market is open on Thursdays through September 3.

Flyers Community Caravan

Ocean City Civic Center, Sixth Street and the Boardwalk

The Flyers Community Caravan continues its tour of South Jersey with a stop in Ocean City. Fans will enjoy appearances by the Gritty, the Flyers Alumni, and the Flyers Ice Team. Plus, enjoy special giveaways, pop-ups, and entertainment by In-Arena Host Everett Jackson.

National Night Out

Join the City of Northfield Police Department and the community in a fun-filled family evening. There will be plenty of activities for the kids, food, entertainment, and community resources.

Thrilling Thursday Movies on the Beach

Huntington Avenue Beach, Margate

Enjoy a free movie on the beach to end the day every Thursday between the bulkhead and dunes. Grab your beach chairs and blankets and watch ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ on screen this Thursday, August 6 along with pre-movie activities and food available for purchase. Plus, mark your calendars for a screening of ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ on Thursday, Aug. 13.

National Lighthouse Day Festival

Absecon Lighthouse, 31 S. Rhode Island Avenue, Atlantic City

Celebrate National Lighthouse Day with family and friends on the grounds of Absecon Lighthouse. Activities will include face painting, games, mermaid bubbles, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more. Kids 12 and under climb free all day. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $10 per family.

Smithville Car Cruise

Historic Smithville, 615 E. Moss Mill Road

Margate Memorials Lifeguard Races

The Margate World War II Memorial Lifeguard Races are a favorite among lifeguards, locals and athletes alike, welcoming beach patrols from Brigantine to Cape May. Events will include the One Mile Doubles Row, Half Mile Swim, and 1000 ft. Singles Row.

Legacy Concerts on the Beach in Somers Point

William Morrow Beach, 800 Bay Avenue

Pack your beach chairs and blankets and head to the beach in Somers Point for an evening of Beatles and Beatlesque music by The Weeklings. The band consists of former members of Styx, ELO, and The Asbury Jukes. The concert is hosted by Tony Mart Presents.

Brigantine Farmers Market

Stop by the Brigantine Farmers Market on Saturdays for fresh produce, homemade food, specialty items, fresh-cut flowers, and appearances from local businesses and vendors. The market is open on Saturdays through Labor Day weekend.

Somers Point Farmers Market

Somers Mansion, 1000 Shore Road

Enjoy a pleasant Saturday morning at the Somers Point Farmers Market. Dozens of local food vendors will set up along the grounds of the Mansion, along with crafters, and locally-owned businesses. The market is open Saturdays throughout the summer.

The Summer Beach Jam concert series welcomes the East Coast Funk Band for an evening of party music and popular favorites. Bring your beach chairs and blankets for this free concert. The music will begin at 6:30 p.m. with food and vendors opening at 5:30 p.m.

Miss Ocean City 2026 Antonella DiAntonio will be on hand as contestants compete in interview, talent, swimsuit, evening gown, and onstage question. Find out who will become the new Miss Ocean City 2027.

Guts and Glory 5K Run and Walk

Doc Turner Memorial Swim

33rd Avenue Beach, Longport

Hosted by the Longport Beach Patrol, this annual event honors the life and legacy of Captain Turner and Doug “Doc” Farrell through an ocean swim tradition. The swim will be approximately a half mile with the current. Check-in opens at 3 p.m. outside Beach Patrol headquarters. Donations will be accepted to support the Longport Lifeguard Association. Brass Transit with the Ocean City Pops

Ocean City celebrates the 250th anniversary of our nation with a weekly patriotic drone show over the beach and boardwalk. The show will feature hundreds of drones lighting up the night sky, creating animations that salute America. The 15-minute shows will be held after dusk on Mondays through Aug. 24.

This Wednesday is Donut Sculpting in Ocean City. Use your creativity to shape and sculpt a warm and fresh boardwalk donut into your very own unique masterpiece. The contest is free and limited to the first 150 participants. Participants must be present at the Music Pier at 10:30 a.m. to participate.

Wacky Wednesdays at Absecon Lighthouse

Boardwalk Hall Organ Recital and Tour

The Historic Organ Restoration Committee invites you to tour the largest pipe organ in the world, inside the walls of historic Boardwalk Hall. Attendees will tour the largest musical instrument in the world and enjoy a recital by Brett Miller who will perform selections on the Midmer-Losh organ. Ocean City Boardwalk from Sixth to 14th Streets

The 116th Annual Baby Parade is just one week away. The parade will include a festive array of floats, musical acts, and appearances from special guests. Ocean City Fishing Pier Open House

6 – 8 p.m.

14th Street and the Boardwalk

The Ocean City Fishing Club invites the public and shutterbugs to tour its pier and clubhouse this Thursday. Visitors will also be able to make a monetary donation or drop off canned goods to support the Ocean City Food Cupboard. This is one of two days a year when the pier is open to non-members. Weather Permitting. Rain date: Friday, Aug. 14.

NAMI Connections and Family Support Groups

NAMI of Atlantic/Cape May offers free self-help, peer led support groups for family members, caregivers, and friends of individuals over the age of 18 living with a mental illness. Participants gain the support of peer who understand their experience and gain insight into others challenges and successes.
