As part of its community partnerships, anglers from the Jimmy Johnson Atlantic City ‘Quest for the Ring’ Championship Fishing Week (JJFISHWEEKAC) donated thousands of pounds of filleted fish to the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City’s award-winning Executive Chef Leslie Daniel hosted a cooking class with children on Wednesday, July 15 at 1 p.m. to showcase how to prepare kid-friendly fish recipes as part of the Boys & Girls Club’s Drexel Club programming.
Throughout the week, tournament participants had the option to donate their weighed-in catches to benefit Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City programming and provide meals for underserved youth and families in the community. Last year, JJFISHWEEKAC collected, filleted and donated more than 4,000 pounds of fish.
