Acclaimed bandleader, songwriter, and producer Dave Damiani is bringing world-class music back to the historic Atlantic City boardwalk. Supported by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA), through a tourism marketing grant, the “It’s Pure AC – Concert Series” will take place every Tuesday night this summer at Kennedy Plaza, starting July 21. The free, family-friendly events begin at 6 p.m. and run weekly through Sept. 8.
Damiani, a long-time mainstay in the Atlantic City entertainment scene with over 50 casino and performing arts center productions to his name, is often called the “new voice of the Great American Songbook.” His hit song, It’s Pure AC, serves as the city’s official anthem. Thanks to a grant from the CRDA, this series brings together premier national touring artists and local musical legends to keep live, high-caliber music accessible to the public.
