The Somers Point Arts Commission is currently seeking interested artists and photographers to participate at their annual Art In The Park festival happening Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10am to 4pm at JF Kennedy Park on Broadway in Somers Point. The group accepts traditional 2-D work in the following categories: Oil/Acrylic, Watercolor, Drawing/Pastels, Hand-Pulled Prints and Photography. Participation is $40 and interested artists can obtain an application by contacting somersptarts@gmail.com or Donna Mohr at 609-287-0408. All applications must be received by September 18. There is $1600.00 in cash prizes.
Art In The Park is free and open to the public. This day-long event features professional and amateur painters and photographers displaying and selling their works, as well as music, fun art activities for children and grown-ups and food/beverages for sale.
