More than 300 students from Atlantic City High School gathered at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City for the school’s annual junior-senior prom, themed “A Night in Paris.” The elegant event featured decorations in black, white and gold, creating a sophisticated atmosphere for one of the school year’s most anticipated celebrations.

Superintendent Dr. La’Quetta S. Small praised the students and staff for making the evening memorable. “Our students work incredibly hard throughout the school year, and events like prom give them an opportunity to celebrate their achievements, friendships and the memories they have created together,” Small said. “It was wonderful to see our young ladies and young men enjoying themselves in such a positive, joyful and elegant environment. I want to commend our staff, advisors and families who helped make this special night possible.”

Atlantic City High School Principal Constance Days-Chapman also reflected on the celebration. “The Atlantic City High School prom was an exceptional evening that beautifully celebrated our students and their accomplishments,” Days-Chapman said. “The students looked absolutely stunning, the ambiance was elegant and memorable, and the evening was enjoyed by all in attendance. It was a night to remember, and our students deserved every bit of that.”

Students arrived dressed in formal gowns and stylish suits while music from Legendary DJ Fah D kept the dance floor active throughout the night. Classmates posed for photos, danced and celebrated together as seniors marked one of the final major milestones before graduation.

“We extend our sincerest appreciation and congratulations to the senior advisors for their dedication, hard work, and commitment in organizing such a successful event,” Days-Chapman said. “Their efforts helped create a truly special and memorable experience for our students. Job well done.”
