The Colony Club of Ocean City will host a special evening celebrating service, scholarship and friendship on Tuesday, June 9, as the organization marks its 76th anniversary alongside the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
The fundraising event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at Greate Bay Country Club.
Guests will enjoy dinner, a cash bar, fashion presentations from She’z the Boss and themed fashions representing various periods throughout U.S. history. The evening will also feature raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing, mystery raffles, lottery hat raffles and door prizes.
Proceeds from the event support the Colony Club’s educational and community outreach efforts throughout the Ocean City area. Through its fundraising initiatives, the organization provides scholarships to graduating young women from Ocean City High School, achievement awards to eighth-grade students at the local intermediate school and sponsorship for a spelling bee for fifth graders.
The organization also sponsors two outstanding junior-year students from Ocean City High School to attend the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs Girl’s Career Institute at Rutgers University each year.
In addition, the Colony Club supports numerous local nonprofit organizations, including CASA, OCNJ CARES, CARA, Ocean City Historical Museum and Ocean City Theatre Company.
In 2025, the Colony Club provided more than $18,000 in education-related financial support to the Ocean City community.
Tickets are $60.
