The Community FoodBank of New Jersey and its Women Fighting Hunger volunteer group are running a “Beyond Food” Drive now through the end of March and invite area residents and groups to take part. The drive will collect non-food items for the Community Assistance Pantry at CFBNJ’s Egg Harbor Twp. Warehouse, items that are in high demand and difficult for many who use the pantry to afford.

Needed items include: soaps, shampoos and lotions; toothpaste and tooth brushes; deodorant/antiperspirant; paper towels and toilet paper; laundry detergent; household cleaning products. All items must be in their new, original packaging.

Donors can drop items off at the FoodBank’s front security desk during business hours or use an Amazon WishList, https://tinyurl.com/yc7pxr54, to send items to the FoodBank, 6735 Black Horse Pike, EHT. Financial donations can be made at give.cfbnj.org/beyondfood. For more information, contact Victoria Branca, development specialist, vbranca@cfbnj.org, 609.380.1184.
