More than 5,000 participants and spectators are expected to visit Sea Isle City over Presidents Day weekend for the 18th Annual Mike’s Seafood Run/Walk for Autism on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. The 5K run and 1-mile walk will begin at noon from JFK Boulevard and the Promenade.
Mike’s Run/Walk for Autism brings together families, local businesses, and community members for a meaningful day of inclusion, advocacy, and support. Proceeds from the event directly benefit organizations and initiatives that provide resources, education, and opportunities for individuals with autism and their families. Funds support Special Services Schools, local autism support groups, and families of children with special needs in Cape May, Atlantic, and Cumberland counties.
“Any day you can do something for children with disabilities, it’s a good day,” said Michael Monichetti, founder of the organization. “It’s truly humbling to see how many people from our community and communities near and far come out to support this event year after year, even in the middle of winter. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support and look forward to this incredible day raising funds and autism awareness.”

The family-friendly event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to enjoy scenic routes along Sea Isle City’s Promenade. The 5K course travels south, while the walk heads north. All runners will be computer chip-timed by JBS Sports Timing, with results available immediately following the race. Online preregistration is $40 per person whether you sign up to run or walk.
After the run/walk, participants and spectators are invited to Excursion Park to celebrate at the after party in huge, heated tents featuring a buffet, music, an awards ceremony, door prizes, and plenty of family entertainment. Children can enjoy face painting, magicians, and special meet-and-greets with princesses and superheroes. Attendees will also have opportunities to win exciting prizes such as lower-level tickets to Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies games, concert tickets, and gift certificates to local restaurants.
