The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City’s Keystone Teen Leadership Club has launched its Blue Hands Holiday Drive, rallying the community to support women and families in crisis this season. The drive runs now through December 12, with drop-offs accepted Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Club’s Teen Center, 317 N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Atlantic City.
Keystone teens are collecting new, unwrapped toys, books, and essential supplies — including toiletries, socks, and other comfort items — to benefit clients served by Avanzar, a private nonprofit agency dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other forms of abuse. Formerly known as the Women’s Center, Avanzar provides comprehensive services and advocacy to promote safety, healing, and empowerment for those most vulnerable.
The teens named the initiative “Blue Hands” as a nod to the Club’s iconic Blue Door—symbolizing the helping hands and welcoming spirit they aim to extend to families during the holidays.
“This drive is about showing compassion, leadership, and the power of coming together to lift up others,” said Joshua Maddox, Workforce Coordinator
Community members are encouraged to drop off contributions no later than December 12. For questions or additional information, contact Joshua Maddox at jmaddox@acbgc.org or 609-347-2697 ext. 110.
