Families, friends, and neighbors gathered at Kennedy Park in Somers Point on Tuesday evening, Aug. 5, to celebrate National Night Out — an annual event that promotes community, safety, and connection.
The waterfront park was filled with activity as attendees enjoyed live music, food trucks, vendor tents, and entertainment for all ages. Highlights included a ventriloquist performance by Justin Thomas, a live art demonstration by local artist Shana Kestrel, and a dynamic SWAT team demonstration. Local businesses and community organizations also set up booths, offering information, giveaways, and interactive experiences.
Designed to strengthen relationships between residents and public safety personnel, National Night Out serves as a reminder of the importance of collaboration in building safe, connected communities.
