Expect an emphasis on delivery, pick-up and catering
Coming soon to the bustling 6400 block of Ventnor Avenue, Santucci’s Original Square Pizza returns in the former Ula Facial Boutique space, right next to Ventnor Social. A mid-June soft opening is planned. Catering and third-party delivery will launch soon after grand opening.
The Ventnor Hospitality Group, which also owns Nucky’s Kitchen and Speakeasy in the Ventnor Square Theatre building, is now the operator of Ventnor Santucci’s.
“We are thrilled to be part of the iconic Santucci’s brand, “ explained Sean Doughterty, of Jersey Cape. “Santucci’s epic square pies have been a downbeach favorite for the past several years (and beyond). I know that the business will continue to thrive. Locals and visitors know that the Philly-birthed Santucci’s name is synonymous with high-quality and friendly service. It’s a legacy brand backed by over 65 years of success, ” he added.
The address and phone number will remain the same, as will the location’s social media presence. Although Santucci’s will occupy a slice of the real estate it previously inhabited, fans can expect the same menu items. (Pasta dishes and soups will be added in the fall.)
New this year, Santucci’s Ventnor will be delivering to the beach! Hungry beach-goers can order by phone, online at their exact beach location, or swipe the QR code found at Pier Shack Cold Brew & Snacks, conveniently located on Ventnor’s Fishing Pier (S. Cambridge Ave). Here, in this central location, delivery
customers can pick up their orders as well. Hot, fresh, and delicious pies will be available for delivery 7 days a week.
“We are truly excited about the new Ventnor opening,” explained Alicia Santucci, Owner/President of Santucci’s Original Square Pizza and SOSP Franchise Company. “Our new Santucci’s App is launching soon, and Ventnor will be the first location to open with the app in place, making it easy for customers to order and accrue points when they sign up for our Pizza Perks loyalty program. Plus, we love Ventnor, we couldn’t leave! Having Sean and his team in charge of day-to-day operations is just the cherry on top,” she added.
Santucci’s Original Square Pizza now has 12 locations with several more planned in the months ahead, including Deptford, NJ, and University City, Philadelphia.
