Knights of Columbus Council 9113 of Marmora

The 38th annual Knights of Columbus Easter Egg Hunt took place on the Grounds of Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Marmora on Saturday, April 19th.

As in years past, local families were encouraged to bring their Easter Sunday food baskets to the church grounds prior to “The Hunt” to be blessed by the Pastor of Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Father Piotr Szamocki.

According to Knights of Columbus Grand Knight, Bob “Bam” Bamberger, “This year, close to 70 children participated in the Easter Egg hunt.  There were lots of treats and prizes, including a special visit from The Easter Bunny! Our men really enjoy putting this event together each year for the young people of our community”.

The Knights of Columbus Council 9113 is sponsored by Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Marmora and meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month in the church hall at 7:30pm.
