MAYS LANDING, NJ — On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Antanette Johnson, from Clayton, NJ, pleaded guilty to second-degree aggravated assault in front of the Honorable Ralph A. Paolone, J.S.C. The plea calls for a recommended sentence of three years in New Jersey State Prison subject to the No Early Release Act.
On March 1, 2026, Atlantic City police officers responded to the Tropicana Casino for a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival, officers watched Antanette Johnson approach the victim, who was on the ground and not involved in any altercation, and kick the victim in the face. The victim was knocked unconscious and suffered a subdural hematoma and a nasal bone fracture.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 6, 2026.
