Ocean City and producers BRE Presents and Bob Rose Productions announced today three new shows in the 30th anniversary season of the popular Summer Concert Series at the Ocean City Music Pier.
Blues musician Keb’ Mo’ (June 20), jazz saxophonist Kenny G (July 10), and Jersey Shore legends Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes (July 17) will be part of an exceptional anniversary season.
Five-time Grammy winner Keb’ Mo’ takes his inspiration from the Delta Blues and his moniker from his given name, Kevin Moore. Kenny G is one of the best-selling artists of any genre – with global record sales topping 75 million. Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes provide rocking good memories to many who were part of the local live music scene in the 1970s and 1980s.
Tickets for these three shows go on sale through Ticketmaster on Thursday, Feb. 23. A limited number of tickets for the shows will be available through the Music Pier Box Office later in the spring.
Two other additions to the Summer Concert Series were announced last week. Because of popular demand for tickets, George Thorogood & The Destroyers will add a second show. The band will now perform on both August 28 and August 29. Get the Led Out will open the Summer Concert Series on June 19. The Led Zeppelin tribute band has been a staple of the series over the years.
The Summer Concert Series features a lineup of rock and popular music concerts typically on Monday nights at the Ocean City Music Pier. Look for new show announcements in the coming week.

OCEAN CITY MARKET MADNESS RETURNS ON MARCH 11
Boardwalk and Downtown merchants in Ocean City will give shoppers a summer preview during the one-day Market Madness event on Saturday, March 11 at the Ocean City Music Pier. Save the date for this one-day sale that will bring together different vendors under one roof and provide discounts on favorite local merchandise, goods and attractions.
Hours for the event will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking will be free in municipal lots adjacent to the boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace, Eighth Street and Ninth Street.
Ocean City’s Boardwalk Merchants Association and Downtown Merchants Association created the new event in 2020 as an early-season attraction, and it’s been a great addition to a full-year of special events in Ocean City.
