In celebration of International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month, Ocean Casino Resort has a dynamic lineup of events honoring and uplifting women. Here’s a look at what’s in store:
- Girls Just Wanna Have Brunch at Amada | Sunday, March 8 at 11:00am ($75 per person)
Guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a curated brunch menu featuring classic tapas and breakfast favorites, along with live music and sweeping ocean views. The celebration will also spotlight pop-up shopping from local female-owned businesses including Blissfully Liss, Brig Chic, BFFs and Babes, Jersey Shore star “Sammi Sweetheart’s” Sweetheart Coast, and more, live fashion illustrations by Denise Fike, and a complimentary swag bag. *A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit women-focused organizations MudGirls Studios, Adelaide’s Place, and Avanzar.
- Pilates After Dark: Presented by Exhale | March 26 from 6:30-8:30 pm
Ocean, in partnership with Exhale Spa + Bathouse, will host an exclusive wellness experience at HQ2 Nightclub including a one-hour mat Pilates session led by instructor and fitness influencer Jonnese Gaffney, set to a live DJ performance by all-female duo Dime Piece. Guests will also enjoy photo moments and gifting from Mingle, Exhale Spa, Nectar Life, and Fabletics.
- Bottled Tasting | March 7 from 7:00-4:00pm
Bottled: Wine, Spirits and Tastings, will feature a complimentary wine tasting with wines from the female wine maker at Merry Edwards on March 7 from 7:00-4:00pm. The brand ambassador will speak to the history and the different varieties of these wines, during the open tasting.
- The Hugo Twist: In celebration of National Women’s Month, Ocean Casino Resort is debuting The Hugo Twist, a signature cocktail crafted with prosecco, Malfy Limone gin, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, club soda, and tonic. A portion of proceeds will benefit local women-focused charities throughout the month.
- Ocean Cares Community Initiatives: Ocean’s community outreach program, Ocean Cares, will volunteer with several women-focused organizations, including Project Prom, MudGirls Studios, and Adelaide’s Place. The team will host a tied-blanket workshop with the women of Adelaide’s Place and a free Ladies Paint Night for community members at the Oceanside 1 Family Success Center, with all materials provided by Ocean.
