Weekly astrology summary:
As we come down from the intensity of last week’s cosmic events and full moon, we can shift our focus onto another important lunar aspect. The nodes of the moon, also known as the personal and collective growth and release points, are shifting zodiac signs/axes to Aquarius and Leo. The nodes of the moon change signs roughly every 18.5 months; the last shift was in January 2025 (Pisces/Virgo). Personally and collectively, we may begin to experience repeating themes from early-2008 to mid-2009, 18.5 years before then, etc. This shift is accompanied by the themes of the new signs/elements, their ruling planets, and will also change the landscape of the eclipses we’ll experience. With the north node in Aquarius, we may become more community-oriented, experience revolutionary events, see scientific breakthroughs or new inventions, and want more liberation and freedom in life. There can also be more tendencies toward control, concentration of power, and rebellion from oppressed people. The south node in Leo encourages us to stand out by gifting heart-centered creations to the collective, and to release any expectation of validation, attention, or accolades. In specific areas of our lives, it’s our passion to shine for the sake of shining! Leo in overdrive can be pompous, egotistical, and overly dramatic, always desiring to be the center of attention. Striking a balance in the dynamic between these two opposing signs is where we’ll find the greatest growth and lessons until the nodes shift again in early-2028.
