Buckle up! Thursday, Sept. 10, offers quite the eventful kickoff to the week. First up, Venus begrudgingly leaves home turf Libra behind and shifts into Scorpio, bringing the first of an upcoming series of oppositions to Chiron and square-offs to Pluto in Aquarius. This brings in the healing and emotional excavation parts of the upcoming Venus retrograde story and journey that was covered in last week’s Cosmic Connection. Next, Mercury shifts into Libra, gifting us the diplomacy in thought and communication that will be required due to Venus’s moves and interactions. Mercury will oppose Neptune and connect harmoniously with Uranus as the week goes on, inviting us to trust and exercise intuition in our relationships. Concurrently, Uranus begins another backwards journey through the early part of Gemini, continuing its reassessment and assimilation in the sign of the twins. Lastly, the moon meets up with the sun in Virgo at 11:26 p.m., becoming new again and reminding us that we all have a secret garden within. This is a lovely new moon with a gentle energy and support from protective Mars. Intentions around tending to and simply enjoying the bountiful, secret garden we all have within us would be a wonderful way to tap into the potential this new moon holds in its own energy, as well as the underlying cosmic energies during this time. This new moon also officially closes out the eclipse season.
