The Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) invites guests to step behind the mask for its 2026 Halloween Party: Phantom Masquerade on Friday, October 30, from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City.

With the ticket deadline quickly approaching, guests are encouraged to secure their spot by Friday, October 23, for this one-of-a-kind evening of mystery, music and theatrical magic.

Inspired by the mystery, romance and masquerade spectacle of The Phantom of the Opera, the event will transform the historic Flanders Hotel into a setting where intrigue and entertainment await around every corner.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of a masquerade or arrive in their most creative, hilarious or scary costumes for an evening filled with surprises.

The fundraiser will feature a delectable buffet, a selection of beverages, music and dancing with DJ Christian Chin, and an array of entertainment designed to make guests feel as though they have stepped into their own theatrical production. Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy tarot card readings, strolling mentalist and illusionist Nicholas Gentry, a photo booth and more.

Whether discovering what the cards have in store, experiencing the unexpected while mingling through the party or striking a pose behind the mask, guests will have plenty of opportunities to become part of the evening’s theatrical magic.

While Phantom Masquerade promises an unforgettable night of Halloween fun, there is an important purpose behind the celebration. The Halloween Party is a critical fundraiser for OCTC and will help set the stage for the organization’s 2027 season and 20th Anniversary celebration.

As OCTC approaches two decades of bringing professional theatre and arts education to the community, establishing a strong financial foundation heading into this milestone year is more important than ever.

“This isn’t simply a Halloween party—it’s an investment in OCTC’s future,” said Michael Hartman, OCTC Founding Artistic Director. “We are incredibly excited about celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2027, but we also recognize that a milestone year requires a strong foundation. This event allows our supporters to come together, have an incredible evening and directly help us prepare for what we hope will be our biggest and most exciting year yet.”

The evening also provides opportunities for businesses and individuals to support OCTC through event sponsorships, helping the organization continue its professional productions, educational programming and commitment to bringing the magic of live theatre to audiences throughout the region.

OCTC’s 2026 Halloween Party: Phantom Masquerade will take place Friday, October 30, from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Flanders Hotel, 719 E. 11th Street, Ocean City, NJ. The event is for guests 21 and older. Social Affairs Permit #155596.
