TJ Heist, owner of The Yard, along with his family, the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, dignitaries and members of the business community, gathered Thursday to celebrate the opening of his new aerial adventure park at 741 West Avenue.
The new attraction, which adds to Heist’s other exciting businesses such as OCNJ Watersports, features an outdoor netted playground and sports simulator. The aerial adventure park is designed just for kids, with nets and obstacles for endless climbing fun. There is ample shade at tables throughout complete with big umbrellas.
Michele Gillian, Executive Director of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, noted during the ceremony that The Yard is just another wonderful example of Heist’s businesses that offer family friendly attractions in Ocean City.
Gillian also presented a plaque to Heist on behalf of the Cape May County Board of Commissioners.
Mayor Jay Gillian led the countdown and Heist used oversized scissors to cut the ceremonial ribbon to the applause of family, friends, and officials.
