The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort made a splash for a cause at its festive Christmas in July celebration on July 25. The one-of-a-kind bash invited guests to trade their beachwear for Santa hats—all in the spirit of giving.

The event raised nearly $5,000 in ticket proceeds, which went directly toward purchasing toys for local children in partnership with Toys for Tots—a nonprofit run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that delivers new, unwrapped toys, games, and books to children in need for the holidays as well as other year-round initiatives.

The Pool After Dark team not only organized the event but also personally shopped for the toys, making sure every dollar went toward brightening a child’s holiday.

“This event really showcased the heart of our nightlife team and their passion and commitment to giving back to the community,” said Gregg Klein, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Harrah’s Resort. “I’m incredibly proud of the team for not only raising nearly $5,000 for Toys for Tots, but for taking the time to personally shop for the toys. It was a true team effort, and we’re honored to support such a meaningful cause.”

“We’re incredibly grateful for this donation,” said Jeanne Edwards, Atlantic County Coordinator for Toys for Tots. “We couldn’t do what we do without the support of our local community, so we want to give a huge thank you to Harrah’s Resort and The Pool After Dark for helping us deliver hope and making Christmas magical for children in need.”

The Pool After Dark thanks all who attended and contributed to making spirits bright in the middle of summer. The nightclub continues to be a standout destination in Atlantic City nightlife—not just for its iconic parties, but for its commitment to supporting local organizations.
