Shadowcast of ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Arrives in Time for Halloween on Oct. 27

After 48 years of conquering Hollywood, the notorious “Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be shown on the main stage of Stockton University’s Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27.

In addition to the screening of the original and unedited film, attendees can enjoy themed drinks in the lobby prior to the show, participate in a costume contest and interact using approved props with Transylvanian Nipple Productions, a shadowcast performance troupe based in Philadelphia that will perform on stage during the screening.

The hit movie stars Tim Curry as the devious and fabulous Frank-N-Furter; Meatloaf; Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon as everybody’s favorite nerdy couple, Brad and Janet; and the film’s creator Richard O’Brien as Riff Raff. It’s become one of the longest weekly showing movies in the world, and here’s the chance to experience the interactive sensation.

This movie is rated R and not recommended for patrons under 17 years old.

Tickets for the general public, senior citizens (65+), and Stockton University staff, faculty and alumni are $25. Tickets for Stockton University students are $10. Special pricing for groups of 10 or more people is also available.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit stockton.edu/pac. Tickets also are available at the Stockton Performing Arts Center box office from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 90 minutes before showtime. Call 609-652-9000.
