SGLC seniors and teens make bags for women’s shelter

Seashore Gardens residents and their buddies from the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies recently came together for a program on deeds of loving kindness. The group decorated canvas bags and filled them with toiletries and necessities for battered women in local shelters. They also completed a crafts project, creating floral cards for residents to give/send to family, friends, and staff.

Better Together is a program of the Board of Jewish Education of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. It connects SGLC residents with Jewish teens from the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies, with programs centering around Jewish values.

The teens chatted with their buddies as they decorated the bags.
