Kristin and Chad Gallagher, of SaltWorks Studio, and artist and picture framer Larry Woulfe, the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, dignitaries and members of the business community, joined Friday, May 16 for a ribbon cutting to officially celebrate the grand opening of the shop in its new location.

SaltWorks Studio, located at 301 West Avenue, first opened in 2018 at 844 Central Avenue. In February of this year, the Gallaghers relocated their business to the new location and reopened on April 1. The shop specializes in custom framing. Woulfe provides his expertise in design consultation and art. There is also an array of gifts to purchase, including local art.

Michele Gillian, executive director of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, congratulated the Gallaghers for the renovation of their new shop and for being valued members of the business community. Gillian noted that this is yet another wonderful example of a “renaissance” taking place within the business community as existing businesses are updated and new businesses open throughout the island.

Gillian also read a proclamation for SaltWorks Studio on behalf of the Cape May County Commissioners.

Mayor Jay Gillian led the countdown and Kristin Gallagher and Larry Woulfe used oversized scissors to cut the ceremonial ribbon to the applause of family, friends, dignitaries, and members of the business community.
