With locations in North Wildwood and Egg Harbor Township (pictured), Zaberers opened in 1961 and closed in the mid-1980s. The sprawling restaurant was called Zaberville. It was home of the Zaberized cocktail, $7.95 complete dinners, and enough decorations to entertain the kids while waiting for dinner. The familiar slogan “Minutes Away” is etched on Charles Zaberer’s tombstone .
