hef Bill Micchelli, of the Ocean City Pizza Company, the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, dignitaries and members of the business community, joined Friday, June 13 for the official grand opening of the new Ocean City eatery.
The new pizzeria, owned by developer Eustace Mita, replaced Sixth Street Pizzeria of the former Wonderland complex. In addition to much loved pizza made by Bill Micchelli, the restaurant also features cheesesteaks, French fries and even funnel cake. There is also an arcade for families to enjoy.
Michele Gillian, executive director of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the new restaurant and arcade and emphasized the importance of investing in the community.
Mayor Jay Gillian gave the countdown and Bill Micchelli used oversized scissors to cut the ceremonial ribbon to the applause of attendees.
